A Day of Firsts for Sadie

Today was a big day for Sadie - her first wave (to Daddy on his way to work this morning), her first swing ride at the park, and her first word, "Mama"!  Can you guess how excited I was about that?

I know I have A LOT of catching up to do on this blog but I wanted to try posting a video of that first swing ride (please forgive the wonkiness - I was trying to simultaneously push and film).  It was clear from the start that Sadie does not have the same aversion to swings as Caden - she loved it the minute I put her in it!

I sent the video to Case at work and he sent back a link to a sweet swing set/play set for the backyard.  So the back yard reno (more pics on that to come) may have just had yet another project added to the list.  (That's fence, patio, sandbox, and now swing set for everyone keeping track.)

One last thing before I go.  I told Caden that Sadie said "Mama" while he was napping and he turned to her and said, "Oh, that's an excellent job saying Mama while I was sleeping Sadie Belle, that's an excellent job!".
