Summer Days 2014

Here are a collection of pics from our adventures so far this summer. I didn't get any of the big kids working the yard sale this summer but I did get...

Last Day of Preschool & the Start of Summer

This is a shot of Caden and Sadie climbing trees with friends at Caden's preschool picnic. It's so hard to believe that after 3 years this guy is heading to kindergarten.

This was the day before the picnic, his official last day. All the kids got to wear PJs or clothes backwards or inside out.

Caden is going to miss both "indoor" and "outdoor" school and it seems that his buddies and teachers will really miss him too. We've been told several times by his teachers that several little girls in his class have a crush on him and his teacher Janice told me again at the picnic that she and Nique are predicting Caden will be the high school class president and prom king... Also that she's betrothed him to her grand daughter. We just feel lucky to have had such caring teachers who saw so many great things in our big boy.

We're also lucky that Mason happily slept through the 2 1/2 hour picnic so these guys got in plenty of tree climbing and bush wracking through the tall grasses playing "lion" with their buds. 

Now it's time for lots of backyard play, swim lessons and summer camps!
