Tonight while I was lying in bed with Caden, I asked him if he'd like to pray with me. He said yes. So I told him I would talk to God first and then it would be his turn to say whatever he wanted.
Then I said a short prayer thanking God for giving me a loving family, good friends and a warm house and asked him to help me to remember to be thankful for these things because not everyone has them.
This is what Caden said:
Dear God,
Thank you for my dresser to hold my clothes,
Thank you for my door to make it quiet so I don't hear everything,
Thank you for my floor so I can walk to my bed...
Thank you for my bean box.
[What do I say at the end?]
Amen.
