Tummy Time!

I realized he doesn't hate it so much if I put him on the changing pad and distract him by moving him around while he's doing it or if it's on one of us. This is Mason after his and daddy's nightly ritual of walking around the neighborhood once the big kids are in bed.

1st Week of June

The weather's been beautiful and the kids have been asking to go to the beach so we headed to Edmonds to play in the sand and watch the ferries.

The next day we planted seeds to start our pumpkin patch in the backyard.

Later in the week Caden and Sadie began work on a new city the plan to spend the summer building in the dirt like by the barn.

Memorial Day Weekend Trip to the Falls

We needed a break from working in the grass in the backyard and painting the play nook upstairs a blue grey (to cover up the hideous yellow). So...

We saw big waterfalls, tons of caterpillars  and hiked about 1/4th of the trail. Mason slept through the entire thing.

Last Day of Outdoor Preschool

After two years for Caden and one for Sadie, last week was our very last day of Field and Forest outdoor preschool. The kids are going to miss their teachers Marcia and Brian and Sadie will especially miss her student teacher pal Maddie but both kids are looking forward to moving on to kindergarten and "indoor school".
