Sadie Turns 9 Months

We've been busy around here and we are all currently under attack from a really nasty sick bug so the posts have been few and far between.  Here are a few pics of Sadie (more will hopefully be coming soon from Caden's baptism).

Some big happenings around here lately:

1. Caden was baptized!  He did an amazing job listening to Father Chuck and having the water poured on his head.  We spent the whole week before talking about what was going to happen and he was a super star.
2. Sadie started crawling the day she turned 9 months!  She can also go from her tummy to sitting and vice versa really well.  Now whenever I go in to get her up from napping, she is always sitting up with her legs dangling through the slats - it always makes me laugh!
3. Along with crawling, Sadie has also started pulling up to her knees while holding onto things and she can stay up on her knees without holding on - I don't think it'll be long till she's standing.
4. Caden has learned to open doors - that combined with Sadie's new-found mobility makes for one busy mama.
5. Sadie is still breastfeeding but she is also doing really well with finger foods - which means we actually all get to eat now when we sit down and have dinner as a family.
