We had a great, relaxing Thanksgiving this year. It snowed a bunch Wednesday and Thursday so it really felt like the holidays. Grandma J made everything ahead of time so there wasn't much to do but heat things up and sit around and drink wait for the goodies. (This was great because it gave me lots of time to convince Grandma and Grandpa J what a great idea a fancy new camera would be for Christmas!!) Grandpa J brought Caden some special stickers from Yakima. He loved them (check out exhibit A on his forehead) - too bad they were hot dog scent, bleck!
It also left plenty of time for Caden to show Grandma J his books...ALL of his books. He had a fancy Thanksgiving outfit picked out but the sweater wouldn't fit over his head and the pants were still a bit long. Oh well, at least he was comfy.
Casey carried on our Nashville tradition of deep frying the turkey and it really was the juiciest turkey we've ever had - yummy! And Caden carried on the tradition of every kid ever by putting olives on his fingers.
Sadie didn't have any turkey but that didn't stop her from joining in on the lounging around afterward.
